Lyndsie & Josh | Downtown Greenville, SC Engagement Session

Spending the evening with Lyndsie and Josh was like hanging out with old friends! I had photographed Lyndsie’s sister’s wedding (Lauren & Ryan!) a couple years ago! So I already had met sweet Lyndsie, and when I saw her and Josh were engaged my fingers were crossed hard that I’d get to photograph their wedding. I was SO excited and honored when they booked, and can’t wait for it to get here!!

Lyndsie is organized, on top of things, yet has such a sweet spirit and calm temperament that makes you feel like a friend she truly cares about instantly! What a gift to get to photograph a couple like this! It doesn’t take much time at all to realize how crazy Josh is about his fiancé!

They were both interested in each other in HIGH SCHOOL!! Josh slyly asked Lyndsie if she wanted to go “sit with him at a play” so it wasn’t too strong of a move, but to see if she was interested! Lyndsie quickly said YES even though she hadn’t been planning to go, but wanted to get to know Josh more!! The rest is history, and he proposed on her family’s vacation at the beach this summer!

As I drove to their engagement session in downtown Greenville, I saw the raindrops hitting my window. To be honest, I really didn’t get too worried! Not only do we have an amazing downtown with beautiful covered areas, but also I knew Lyndsie and Josh would be up for anything! A quick text confirmed that, and my white umbrellas made a debut for the first part of the session! And I’m obsessed!!
