Oh friends! My first time shooting a wedding in Winston Salem, NC was a DREAM! I was SO excited when Erin reached out to me about photographing her and Joni’s wedding! Erin and Joni haven’t always had it easy dating. Joni is from New Zealand, meaning after getting to know each other at the university they both attended, he had to return home-halfway around the world from Erin! But if you get to know these two, you immediately see their patience, maturity, and love for each other! And all these are necessary for a long distance relationship for sure! So their wedding was all things sweet, joyful, and such a celebration or joining these two incredible lives together!!

But it’s also clear how much fun and laughter they share! This was such a sweet, upbeat bridal party and that really makes a difference for those around and the bride! These two had such a great support group that loved on them and laughed with them through the day! They were married at Highlands Presbyterian Church! Erin flowed down the aisle in her gorgeous gown, and it literally was like a scene that would be in The Princess Bride. Everything was so elegant and stunning about this wedding in Winston Salem, NC! We did photos after the ceremony at Tanglewood Park, and what a beautiful place! Then after their church reception, they had an intimate dinner reception with their family (many were all the way from New Zealand!!) at WinMock at Kinderton!

Erin & Joni, your wedding was perfect. I can’t imagine having to plan and coordinate things even half way around the world, but everything came together so well and your planning paid off! I just adore you two and wish you the best in your life together!

Seriously SUCH a gorgeous church!!!!Oh these two are just the cutest!!!!!
