I always loved entrepreneurship, and it took different forms as I grew up! I think we’re all grateful I upgraded from trying to sell jewelry to the ladies in my mom’s office when I was in middle school! Things look a lot different now, but there’s one thing that carried through all my “business endeavors.”
I love hearing stories, and capturing the authentic moments. And after marrying the sweetest man out there on September 14, 2018, I realized just how important my job was. The day was like a fast-forwarded movie! I was in the hair and makeup chair, and before I knew it, I was walking down the aisle ugly crying! And just like that we were running through our sparkler exit, MARRIED!! And I have the most beautiful leather album on our coffee table to relive this perfect day!
We live in a home we fixed up, always have a candle burning, and are parents to our little Shihpoo, Maggie (#shihpoomaggie)!
Between our home date nights snuggled on the couch with a pizza and favorite show, or one of our last-minute trips that involves very little planning (which has been a stretch for my Type A mentality!), I serve clients by capturing the joy on wedding days, and heirlooms for portrait clients in a southern, classic style! I’m so glad you stopped by to learn more! Let’s walk through this process together over lattes of course!

Capturing the light and joy of moments in a southern, elegant style.
I had no idea where photography would take me when I began in college in 2013. I had no idea how much I would love the relationships built with people, how much I’d love to get creative with every person I photographed, and provide the joy to always look back on. And even though I’ve photographed over 90 weddings and lost count of portrait sessions, I count each one as special and unique.
Each love story is different and beautiful, and deserves to be preserved. You’ll find me giving lots of hugs (is there any other way to greet someone??), cheering our couples on, tearing up during the ceremony & first dances, and it’s bittersweet saying goodbye on the wedding day. I take my job very seriously, and count it as an honor to be the one behind the camera preserving this joy!
