Kayla & Dylan | Columbia, SC Maternity Session

What a beautiful blessing it is to get to know my couples, and get to see them in the next exciting season after marriage!! Kayla and Dylan’s wedding day celebration in Columbia was just over a year ago! SO crazy!! If you’ve been on my website or following me for awhile, I can assure you you’ve seen their faces before! They’re such an amazing couple, and when they reached out about having a maternity session I was ecstatic! I take on less portrait sessions now that I focus mostly on weddings, but always do what I can when it’s a past couple! How special to get to capture this time!!

These two are just so incredibly kind. Kayla is just the sweetest, and Dylan let me know he had been practicing his nuzzling! And he killed it!! We went around the same place we had photographed most of their wedding portraits- Kayla’s aunt’s house! It’s literally a dream location with beautiful trees, a gorgeous lake the sun sets behind, and even a beautiful pool (and you better believe we used it for some shots at the end!)!

It was so special getting to see Kayla and Dylan again. Hudson is going to be such a lucky little boy having two amazing parents who are so loving and kind!
