I was so excited for Julia and Ben’s wedding! BUT I know these two were even more excited because they’ve spent about their entire relationship long distance. It definitely takes a special couple to be patient in waiting, but these two are just so inspiring and amazing. Julia has patiently waited for this day with Ben being in the Air Force on active duty as an officer, and not stationed in the same state as her, but she is so supportive, kind, and has such a gentle spirit about her!
Julia rode with me to Furman University for their first look and portraits! She was slightly nervous, but I told her once brides see their groom it makes the day that much more relaxed! And when Ben turned and saw Julia for the first time, I couldn’t help but be teary eyed! Once they told me they were ready for pictures, Ben was still just staring at his gorgeous bride-to-be, smiling ear to ear! It was so clear just during portraits how much he loved her, cared for her, and viewed it as an honor to get to marry sweet Julia!
Ben looked so sharp in his dress uniform, and it was Julia’s first time seeing him in person in it!! Not to mention Julia literally looked like a princess, and brought tears to her family’s eyes with her perfect dress, and beautiful smile!
Julia and Ben are one of those couples that you leave feeling encouraged, when your job was to encourage them! They are SO giving, gracious, and I’m so excited for their marriage and life together as one!
Here are some favorites from their wedding day!
Her first look with her dad was SO sweet!
