This Charleston engagement session is full of blush, tulle, pearls, and a flower crown! Jacqueline and Jordan caught each other’s eye several years ago, and as time went on they finally began dating! They’ve dated over four years, and had their engagement session at their favorite place to go on trips together- Charleston! My photographer heart is so happy shooting here, and we had the best time walking down Rainbow Row, chatting between stops about their love story and life, and ended overlooking the water at sunset! Does it get any dreamier??

But something else crazy happened other than how amazing these two were. I was shooting, took a step back and tripped over my stool. Not like a casual stumble, but my legs went flying in the air as I fell straight back! I knew I wasn’t graceful, but this was a whole new level of clumsiness for me! Thankfully these two are literally the so kind and understanding and I quickly assured them no matter what they do this session, it can’t be worse than that!

So after I quickly recovered and got back into shooting, my heart filled up to the brim. Jacqueline’s tulle skirt, black heels, and pearls were perfect for the breathtaking Charleston backdrop! We wandered around stopping at random spots and my goodness I’ve missed shooting in Charleston! The southern charm these two have fits perfectly in this city! They seriously look like they should be models, but Jacqueline is actually in nursing school! I was so glad her fall break ended up being on such a gorgeous week in the cute city, and I’ll admit we even got a little chilly towards the end of our session!
