Amanda’s bridal portrait session at The Venue at Falls Park is a favorite! And since her and Tanner are married (see their Columbia wedding day here!) I can finally share them!! A few weeks before our wedding day, Edward mentioned how nice it would be if I did bridal portraits! I scheduled the hair and makeup trial, and am blessed with best friends who are photographers who were 100% down with slipping in a session, and who helped make it happen! Needless to say, I’m SO glad I did that little session!
I’ve heard bridal portraits are more common in the south, but it’s a great time to get to wear your dress before the wedding, have extra images in it, and see how everything- hair, makeup, your dress, even your flowers look all together! AND you get to display a beautifully framed portrait at your reception!!
So I was ecstatic when Amanda wanted to add on a bridal portrait session! Mostly because she’s one of those people I had felt instantly connected with after meeting her at her engagement session, and couldn’t wait to spend more time with her!! And then goodness- she is FLAWLESS!!! Her mother came to help, which was such a joy. Her dress fit like a glove!! We were all freaking out at just how beautiful of a bride she made!!
We got to do her session at The Venue at Falls Park, which was the perfect backdrop to showcase Amanda’s classic style!! And I loved getting to see a framed image of one of her portraits at her reception!!
Amanda, this time was so special with you! I’m so glad we had this session, and that you and Tanner have extra images to treasure of this time!!
