Last summer I photographed a couple that was one of the kindest, most selfless couples I’ve ever worked with. Julia and Ben had their wedding on July 8 this past year (see it here!), and it was a dream! Rebekah is Julia’s sister, and was her maid of honor!! On the car ride to Julia & Ben’s first look, Rebekah mentioned she was dating pretty seriously! I sort of slipped in the conversation to let me know if she needed a photographer since Rebekah is just as sweet as her sister! I love getting to photograph weddings of past bride’s siblings or bridal party since we already know each other from the wedding day, and they’ve seen the behind-the-scenes of what goes on and what to expect. Fast forward a few weeks and Mark proposed to Rebekah, and she was a Christa Rene bride!!!! It’s been so fun to plan with her through the past months, and I’m thrilled I get to work with Rebekah & her amazing family again in Pennsylvania this summer!

Rebekah & Mark drove ALL the way from Pennsylvania for their engagement session, and thankfully we’ve been having incredible weather after the storm earlier last week! I got to talk with them as a couple for the first time, and they just click so well. They’re such a cute couple, and when I’d have Mark lean in and nuzzle I looked over to see him whispering sweet things in Rebekah’s ear. You can tell just by the way Rebekah looks at him that she’s so crazy about him! It’s such a gift to capture this exciting stage in my couples’ life, and I always leave with such a full heart!

With Rebekah working night shift at a hospital, and Mark’s hours working accounting, I know every moment they have is precious and such a gift. What a joy to capture some of those moments in this beautiful engagement session at Furman University!

Rebekah & Mark, I just adore you two and your sweet, gracious love for each other that’s so evident! Next summer can’t come soon enough!!
