How do you begin a blog post about your best friend’s engagement session in downtown Charleston and Hunting Island?? What an HONOR and a JOY to be part of this session for Meghan and Crosby. God placed Meghan in my life 5 years ago, and the connection was instant. She has been such a steady, encouraging friend these past years, and my heart is thrilled for her and Crosby!
We’ve seen each other through many special seasons, and watching her love story with Crosby unfold makes me teary. Crosby was actually supposed to be her date to mine and Edward’s wedding, but couldn’t make it. After that, they parted ways for a time, and then they later reconnected at just the right time. Crosby is full of energy and love, and while Meghan kept telling herself he was just a “good friend” (even after he flew her to New York City for a date day… needless to say I had my suspicions!), he told her how much she meant to him and they officially started dating.
Since then, they were inseparable, and it doesn’t take long to see what a dream team these two are. The way they care for other people together, as well as go on crazy adventures hand in hand makes your heart leap with joy. It’s hard to put into words how much I love this sweet couple, and how happy I am for their wedding just weeks from now!
We started their session at Hunting Island- a place that holds a special part of Crosby’s heart with many family trips here growing up, and finished in downtown Charleston- a place they both LOVE with it’s southern charm and prep! Pink Figgy even joined us then, which was the icing on top!
