Katelyn James Workshop Styled Shoot | Christa Rene Photography

Last September I had the HUGE privilege of attending Katelyn James’s photography workshop at Big Spring Farm in Lexington, VA!! I seriously still cannot believe I got to go… saying it was incredible is a giant understatement! I’ve followed Katelyn for a few YEARS now, so it was obviously a bit of a fan-girl moment when we drove up and saw her standing outside with Bokeh waiting to greet us!! 

Looking back, the 2 days we were there blends together, but what defined day one was the styled shoot that evening! Katelyn had the most incredible vendors come, and we had such a GORGEOUS couple to work with!! Absolutely everything from the boutonniere bar to the detailed table settings made this sunset styled shoot romantic and dreamy! I’d never seen my name look prettier than it did written in gold calligraphy on the at my spot on the dinner table!  And I can’t even begin explaining how beautiful Big Spring Farm is!!! It’s like everything every photographer wants all in one spot!! We ended the evening with a delicious, candle-lit dinner under the starts!!
