Joanah & Andrew’s engagement session at North Carolina Arboretum was SO stunning!!! Joanah and Andrew are both Navy Officers and first met in Sasebo, Japan while they were stationed there in 2016. They’ve been together for four years, and are excited to have their wedding this summer!
They originally planned a trip to Peru to hike Machu Picchu; however, plans did not go as planned… So they decided to go to San Francisco and drive to Yosemite for New Years instead. They got engaged in San Francisco, CA overlooking the Embarcadero Bridge at NYE. In Joanah’s words, “Literally starting our New Year with a bang!!” While it wasn’t their original plan for their engagement, Joanah stated, “But God always has a plan and when it’s the perfect time it does not matter where you are- what matters is that moment!” And I couldn’t agree more!!
I am SO excited to have the opportunity to document their wedding at Chestnut Ridge!! Joanah and Andrew are such a beautiful couple, and I quickly fell in love with their positive personalities which will make their special day even more wonderful! You can see the love they have for each other just shining through their smiles!
