This beautiful, southern wedding at Arran Farms in SC was a dream. I still remember chatting with Courtney over lunch months ago about her wedding day! She was thrilled to marry Zach after 9 (!!) years of being together!! How perfect is that??
As you know, the world has taken a turn in the past months, affected several of our brides. Courtney and Zach had to make a lot of changes for their wedding day to happen. And it was a dream day. Their closest family and friends gathered together to witness their union overlooking rolling green hills on a gorgeous, sunny day with a gentle breeze. There were tears of joy, and just so much love. Intimate weddings are so beautiful- the focus is on what’s most important.
Courtney posted the sweetest words, I thought I’d share since it sums up their day so well! “I got myself a husband, y’all!! Might I just add, a kind-hearted, loving, intelligent, handsome, God-fearing husband! I’ve dreamt of this day since I was a little girl and planned out that dream for 13 months. Almost every aspect of our wedding was flipped upside down and changed in the last 2 weeks. For a girl that’s dependent on order and precision, this was rough. We’ve learned a lot about life and love over the past couple weeks, but most importantly we realize we aren’t in control. God orchestrated every detail of our private wedding ceremony yesterday, and we are in awe. We hope to bring glory to Him through our marriage each and every day! I love you, Z.”
As you can hear, these two are a strong, Christ-focused couple!! What a joy to get to capture their intimate wedding!! We had a LOT of fun with these two, and captured some of my all time favorite portraits!!!
