Cassidy & Matt | Winston-Salem, NC Wedding

I immediately fell in love with these two when we met for the first time at their engagement session (view it here)! They were so sweet, positive, and easy-going! And not to mention serious model status!!!

Julia (my second-shooter & sweet friend) and I drove up to Winston-Salem, NC for their gorgeous wedding! We arrived the day before, went scouting for locations, and ended the night with Chipotle to get fueled up for the wedding day! I’d SO been looking forward to this day, and the streets of Winston-Salem are so classy and beautiful! We soaked in the vibes that reminded me of New England, and I was just amazed at how gorgeous the scenery was! I definitely need to come back to this city soon!

We began photographing Matt & Cassidy’s wedding day, and were watching the forecast hoping the rain would hold off! And I’m so grateful for the timing of the weather! There was a very light sprinkle in the morning, so we used some beautiful white umbrellas for part of it, and once it was extremely light, some without! We headed to their beautiful ceremony at Saint Leo’s Catholic Church, and during the gorgeous ceremony the rain was the hardest. It then stopped right after their beautiful ceremony, so we stepped outside and had a clear window for more portraits before heading to the reception!

Cassidy’s sweet daughter, Chloe helped her get ready, and was so excited to see Mommy looking so beautiful for her wedding day! She also made a ton of friends on the dance floor, and was just beyond precious when she ran up to help with her mom’s dress train!

Their reception downtown at Spring House was strewn with beautiful candles, fall décor, and the perfect setting for their loved ones to celebrate their marriage and dance the night away!

One of my favorite parts of the day? Cassidy & Matt ran through a sparkler exit and left in a horse-drawn carriage that drove them through the streets of downtown Winston-Salem!

Chloe was SO excited for her mommy to get married!! Her girls were the sweetest and SO gorgeous!! These two… I told you they’re basically models!!  Obsessed with Cassidy’s ceremony veil!! Cassidy, you are FLAWLESS!! Such an incredible day with these two. I left with such a full heart!!
