The Booking & Shooting Weddings Workshop Recap | Christa Rene Photography

I had the privilege of sitting with 11 ladies at The Venue at Falls Park talking about all things booking and shooting weddings! And goodness. You know that feeling when you walk away and just think… “THIS is what I am supposed to be doing!!”? It was that exact feeling. I feel this during wedding days, AND when educating growing business owners! These girls are each so amazing and so special. They have AMAZING things in store and are doing incredible things right now. I’m beyond honored and humbled that they chose to invest in themselves and their business by coming to this workshop!!

We started with donut holes and coffee and chatted about lens choice, posing, and lighting throughout the wedding day! After a few hours, it was time for the amazing styled shoot full of burgundy tones, and even pieces of POMOGRANATE!! No joke! How amazing is that?? I’ll be sure to share the styled shoot with you all soon! But let’s just say Sarah Walters from Plan My Wedding Day outdid herself!

During the shoot demonstrated how I smoothly pose, shoot details, and we even popped outside for some ceremony practice! After this, they girls got a brand new headshot! Then we headed in for my favorite part!

We dove deep into marketing and business. And goodness am I passionate about this. I believe that anyone- no matter your personality, background, age, etc, can be a successful business owner if you work efficiently and hard! So sharing tips on reaching their ideal client, organization, and client experience fuels me!! We went over on time because we just dove in so deep! I wish we had scheduled wayyy more time because I didn’t want to say goodbye to these amazing ladies!
