Being engaged has given me an even deeper love for weddings. I think of what I really want captured on our wedding day that’s coming in just under 4 months, and what really matters. And one thing I for sure want to treasure through pictures is the joy of the day! And Amanda & Matt’s day was full of that!! I’ve loved getting to know this sweet, bubbly couple through the planning, their engagement session, and now their wedding!

The forecast had been calling for rain all day. It sprinkled a little when I drove up to their downtown venue, but once it was time for portraits it was clear! It only rained again when we were all inside for the reception! When it stopped right before sunset, we ran out for some beautiful just-married portraits overlooking downtown that are just my favorite!! We were all so thankful for the weather holding off, and that it ended up being such a beautiful wedding day!!

We had their first look on Avenue’s rooftop, and it was one of the sweetest! After their first look, Amanda was so relaxed and happy finally being with her groom!! Even Matt’s mom mentioned to me just how relaxed she was now that she had seen Matt! And she was so right. They truly are simply crazy about each other, and beyond perfect together. The rest of the day flowed so smoothly thanks to this amazing couple and their incredible vendor team, and this downtown Avenue wedding is a favorite for sure!! I love how during the reception they were on the dance floor almost the entire time, dancing the night away with each other and their friends! They ended by running through sparklers and exited in a beautiful horse-drawn carriage! Basically a fairytale!

It was an honor and joy getting to capture their day for them, and a gift getting to know them more over the past year! I’m beyond excited to share their wedding day with you all! It was filled with the most beautiful thought out details, a joy-filled couple, and a gorgeous day!!

Just obsessed with this invitation suite! Amanda had the sweetest bride tribe!!! Amanda, you are breathtaking!!!! I mean… THAT DRESS! Amanda is flawless!!

Then we headed to the Rock Quarry for a few more portraits! They had the sweetest ceremony! Just so much joy!!! Just the most gorgeous table set up!!! Upstate I Do knocked it out of the park with the planning!! Wire Wood Music is seriously SO amazing!!! My favorites!! The rain cleared up right when the light was glowy!! I just adore how perfect and happy these two are together. Uptown Entertainment knows how to get almost every guest on the dance floor!! And I’m not sure anyone was more excited for Amanda & Matt than this guy!!
