This beautiful downtown Charleston wedding at The Gadsden House was a southern dream! Annie and Drew are such a wonderful couple. Annie’s smile is so infectious and makes you want to just chat with her for hours! Drew is so sweet and kind, and together they’re the most welcoming couple! They first met at a party when Drew heard Annie was a physical therapist, so he came up to Annie and asked about shoulder pain! They sparked conversation and became inseparable!
We’ve been so excited about this day for months! And then when we photographed their downtown Charleston engagement session, I was even more excited! But their wedding was absolutely perfect. The Gadsden House offers multiple stories of beautiful rooms and huge windows! And right outside past a southern white porch is a beautiful courtyard where Annie and Drew had their ceremony. It was an absolute dream, and I have to admit this is a new favorite venue!
But more than the venue were the people. We LOVE Annie and Drew. One of my favorite times of the day was when we were at a pause in the schedule, and I just got to chat with Annie for a few minutes. Even though it was her wedding day, she had a calmness and just showed so much love to everyone around her! Drew was so excited to see his beautiful bride, and the moment he saw her coming down the aisle was perfect. Again, this couple is incredible!! They also had a wonderful vendor team, and Annie’s best friend is a wedding planner! So we had many helpful hands this day!
I’m sharing a LOT of favorites becuase how could I narrow it down?? From Annie’s beautiful details, to how STUNNING she looked in her gown, to their classic bride and groom portraits (Drew looked so sharp!!), and more portraits along the streets of Charleston, topped with a stunning reception, can you blame me for wanted to share so many? 😉
