After 10 years in this industry, I’ve photographed hundreds of portrait sessions and weddings, and now coach growing photographers- whether they’re learning their first camera, or ready to scale just from portraits by adding in products.
2014 has been a wonderful, wonderful year! I hope you all have such a wonderful Christmas! I can’t wait for New Years’ and I’m excited for a New Year’s post coming your way soon, but before that wanted to share a few behind-the-scenes!
So it turns out it’s often hard for me to look natural behind a camera. I look at these photos and think, “Oh Christa…” But haven’t we all had those photos?! Yes? Maybe?? Ok well I often have them 😉 Enjoy these sneaks of what happens behind the camera!
So it was June and super hot… I don’t normally look this scary!!
Loved this landscape! We also found the skeleton of a dear…. creepy!
Let’s be honest here… cake is one of the best parts of receptions!
Oh Hannah and Drew… I just love you two!! And check out that sunrise peeking through the trees!
Such a pretty, fall wedding. Apparently I’m also really bad at straightening the bottom layer of the back of my hair. Any other girls out there understand??
Maybe I was checking the image? But Emily and Dillon just look stellar!!
Beautiful Rahab and her bridesmaids! The Furman Rose Garden is so gorgeous.
Maybe because I was near the cupcakes??
What even?? But Liz is still smiling so sweetly even after my sad attempts at explaining poses!
Another from working with Emily and Dillon… such a fun couple!!
I need to work on a more graceful photographer stance…
No, I’m not trying to get Scott to choke Liz 😉
I either look super artsy and epic, or confused. We’ll go with confused.
